 Afternoon Session
The afternoon session consists of individual proficiency assessment. Each students skills ares assessed in each area. Learners are required to pass each asessment activity in order to achieve the course certificate of completion.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Gloves/Eye Protection

Disposable Protective Clothing, head/shoes covers

Identifies all deficiencies-fit-checks correctly.

MOLD REMEDIATION TECHNIQUES - LEVEL 3

Shut down HVAC - Discretionary

Containment - Work area & directly adjacent areas

Misting Surfaces - Discretionary

Removal - Contaminated material that cannot be cleaned

Final clean - HEPA vac & wet detergent wipe work area & surrounding

Debris - Sealed in plastic bags

Clearance - Visually dry free of mold & debris

MOLD REMEDIATION TECHNIQUES - LEVEL 1
 

Shut down HVAC - Discretionary

Misting Surfaces - Recommended

Removal - Contaminated material that cannot be cleaned

Final clean - Wet Detergent wipe work area & egress

Debris - Sealed in plastic bags

Clearance - Visually dry free of mold & debris

MOLD REMEDIATION TECHNIQUES - LEVEL 4
 

PPE - Repirator - Full face w/HEPA Filters, disposeble protective clothing

HVAC - HVAC & Critical barriers

Shut down HVAC - Discretionary

Containment - Air tight seal of work area, plastic sheeting and tape

Negative Pressure - HEPA Filtered negative pressure

Deco - system - One room With air loks

Misting Surfaces - Recommended

Removal - Contaminated material that cannot be cleaned

Final clean - HEPA vac, wet detergent wipe, dicontamination of work area until visually clean.

Debris - Sealed in plastic bags, bags to be HEPA vac'd and decon

Clearance - Air monitoring before occuancy
