Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker
 
Developed to meet Federal Lead-Based Paint Model Accreditation Program requirements, the Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker Training Course is designed to be taken over two consecutive days. Eight hours of extensive hands-on training sessions are completed as part of each course. This course is taken by Abatement Workers performing abatement work in school buildings, public and commercial or industrial facilities. This course also serves as an entry level course for facility management personnel or building owners providing an overview of the Lead-Based Paint abatement process from the Worker standpoint.
 
 
 
LEAD-BASED PAINT WORKER
The Worker course may be a two-day course or a four day course depending on the state in which you desire licensing. The Worker course prepares persons to safely perform labor related tasks associated with Lead-Based Paint abatement. This course is required by many states for local accreditation and licensing as a Worker.

A 50 or a 100 question multiple choice examination will be administered at the end of both the Worker and the Contractor/Supervisor courses respectively. Those with a passing score of 70% or better will be awarded a certificate of accreditation. Students must also pass a skills assessment.
The course fee includes all instructional materials, exam administration, and certificate.
 
 
 
A 50 question, multiple choice examination will be administered at the end of both the Lead-Based Paint Inspection and Risk Assessor courses. Those with a passing score of 70% or better will be awarded a certificate of accreditation. Students must also pass a skills assessment.
 
The course fee includes all instructional materials, exam administration, and certificate.
 
 
Lead-Based Paint Abatement for Worker Refresher
This course is an 8-hour,one full-day course. The course meets individual state requirements for re-certification. Included in these updates is a review of the Contractor/Supervisor and Worker duties under the US. Environmental Protection Agency (US. EPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. In addition, this training will increase the understanding of recent developments in Lead-Based Paint hazard assessment and control.
 
  • This is an annual review. If you have been certified as a Worker, you MUST - BY LAW - take a re-certification course in order to maintain your accreditation and to be eligible for the renewal for any state licensing programs.

    Lead-Based Paint Worker refresher is a full-day comprehensive review for persons who to safely perform labor related tasks associated with Lead-Based Paint abatement. This course is required by many states in order to maintain your accreditation and to be eligible for the renewal for many state licensing programs for re-accreditation as a Worker.
